End-Point Setup

An End-Point consists of URL to the Exchange server EWS, and credentials with Application Impersonation.

The Oof Management part uses an account that has been prepared with rights to access and change users account settings through EWS. Here is a description of how you set up this account.

The Service URL

 A

Select scope; On premises or Office 365.

Note: Office365 now use Modern Authentication, so you must proceed to give Admin Consent. Click the link just above to read more.

B + C  Put any primary email address of a user that resides on the Exchange server you want to use. Click the "Use your e-mail" to auto-detect you own email.

When you close the window the End-Point will be tested and your email will be translated to a valid EWS endpoint, like shown in B.

You can also just put the End-Point if you have it fresh in memory.

If you are using Outlook 365, the DNS of your internal network may not have the appropriate records for a detection. Autodiscovery may fail. If so you can then just use the "Outlook 365" button to insert the currently know front-end that Microsoft uses. Or you may insert the URL by hand.

Impersonation Account

D  You can use either a NtSamAccount name and domain name or use the UPN notation without the domain.

Please note that in most scenarios the UPN of Office 365  is also the email.

But in this example the UPN is the windows domain.
