Group Management of Oof messages

The Out-of-Manager in DS also offers management of large numbers of users at once.

It is accessible from the toolbar when a license has been added. (To enable it you should acquire a separate license.)

Setup Page

 A

Choose the groups and/or OUs for a job.

 B

Enable or not. You must pay particular attention to this.

If you want to make the generated Oof message active and start sending Oof messages right away choose "Send automatic replies".
BUT if you want to just deploy a predefined standard reply that is not active, but is just going to be the one users see as default when they later want to set an automatic reply in Outlook or Owa, then choose "Do not send automatic replies". This will add the oof message to the user without activating it. So you can deploy passive replies.

 C

If a user has already got an active reply setup, you may not want to alter that. The person may have dates fixed and a special message. You can choose to deploy only to user that has no active replies.

 D

When deploying an active Oof message, you can narrow the audience to only inter-company communication.

 E

Select the date range for the active reply.

 F

Choose the template to deploy

Pre-flight

 A

Before the actual work will be performed, the wizard expands the user selection and analyses their location. All users not matching the end-point setup will be ignored.

 B

You can get the report in plain txt if you need to. This is handy if you feel you need to cancel this and go back and do some more preparations.
